San Francisco native Joslyn Soliman is a professional makeup artist and hairstylist that splits her time between Los Angeles and New York, but also travels worldwide depending on the needs of her clients. Her desire to pursue makeup artistry came on accident when her regular hairstylist was booked and she gave herself a hideous bang trim right before a vacation. Shortly thereafter she enrolled herself in cosmetology school where she discovered her love for the beauty industry and no longer the corporate world. After attaining her college degree, she took a chance on her dream and moved to the City of Angels. It was the best decision she ever made. Since then she has worked on various award shows, commercials, films, look books, runway shows and consistently shoots with top modeling agencies in Los Angeles and New York. Makeup has been a creative outlet for her as she strongly believes that passion is the essential constituent for success. She adds, "Do what you love and love what you do. It's as simple as that."
